FAQ

How does the wallet work?

Buy a credit pack once — this is the only charge. Credits are added to your Oyra wallet and deducted each time you watch a film. Credits valid for 24 months from last login. There is no subscription, no monthly renewal, and no hidden fees.

How does dynamic pricing work?

Each film has a Oyra Score (0–100) built from four equal-ish signals: viewer ratings (23%), average watch completion (23%), total view popularity (23%), and trending velocity — how fast completions are accumulating vs the platform average (30%). The score maps linearly to a price. Short films range from $1.00 to $2.00. Features range from $2.00 to $3.00. The price updates automatically as the score changes.

When do creators get paid?

Creator earnings are calculated per view in real time and accumulated in their dashboard. Payouts are processed monthly via bank transfer once a $50 minimum is reached, or automatically after 6 months regardless of balance. Withdrawals under $100 incur Stripe's processing fee (~$2), which is deducted from the payout — over $100 Oyra absorbs the fee.

What AI tools can I use to make a film?

Any tool — Sora, Runway Gen-3, Kling, Pika, Stable Video Diffusion, or a combination. We accept any AI-generated content that passes our content review and meets our quality guidelines (minimum 10 minutes, 720p or above).

What does the AI content review check for?

Our automated review checks for: explicit/adult content (flagged for age-gating or rejection), potential copyright-infringing source material, deepfake likenesses of real people without consent, and violence exceeding classification limits. Films requiring manual review are typically processed within 24–48 hours.

Why no subscription option?

A pure pay-per-view model means creators always get paid per view — there's no pool dilution, no complex revenue sharing, and no months where a subscriber watches 40 films but the platform can only pay out a fraction. Every dollar spent maps directly to a film watched. This is fairer for creators, and simpler for viewers.
